Noord-Mitrovica, stad zonder stadsbewoners

There are no manifestations going on against the lack of drinking water, against the spatial disaster, against the poor management. The reason? The citizens are lacking an urban spirit. Most of them are villagers, they arrived during or after the conflict in 1999, while many of the orginal ‘urban’ families fled the city.
